Brighton Girls' are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior ICT Technician to provide 1st line technical support and to contribute to the smooth functioning of our ICT systems.
As a Junior ICT Technician, you will play a pivotal role in offering key technical advice and resolving ICT incidents and problems. You will support the deployment of school systems, ensuring the installation of new and upgraded ICT systems whilst maintaining the integrity of our existing ICT infrastructure. In addition to this, you will actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of both in-person and virtual learning environments and you will also assist in the day-to-day running of our school network.
You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and will be a strong team player. You will possess a technologically proficient background, with a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10 and Office 365. Your methodical troubleshooting skills will enable you to identify and resolve issues efficiently, using your initiative to apply logical solutions to complex situations. Your understanding of ICT systems and their application in business or educational contexts will be essential in providing comprehensive ICT support.
This role will also accommodate one day a week study leave to complete an apprenticeship.
