Job overview
We are looking for a Junior Regional IT Technician based at Aureus Secondary School. As part of the busy Trust GLF IT Service, the role involves providing first line support in the school, working with a range of systems, such as Windows 10, SIMS and O365 and working with users with varying skills. The candidate must have the confidence to independently find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT within the school.
Whilst primarily based at Aureus Secondary, the role also has potential to support two other local schools; Aureus Primary and Manor School. GLF Schools currently has 40 schools located in Surrey, Wokingham, Croydon, Oxfordshire and West Sussex. Our vision is to raise the aspirations and achievement of all children within the GLF family of schools.
The varied nature of this role requires an intelligent and enthusiastic person with a friendly and professional manner. Whilst experience in a similar role and supporting hardware and software installations and configuration is desirable, as a member of the Trust GLF IT Team, you will benefit from the experience and support of senior members of the team.
This is a full-time role for 36 hours a week, 41 weeks per year (term-time +2), but flexible working patterns will be considered.
