Junior School French Teacher

South Hampstead High School, the Independent Girls' School of the Year 2022, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our teaching team as a Part-Time French Teacher at the Junior School.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students, helping them develop a love for the French language and culture. You will utilise a wide range of teaching strategies and resources, including the use of technology, to meet the diverse needs and expectations of our learners. You will be able to build upon the prior knowledge and attainment of earlier learning to ensure sustained progress for each student, encouraging pupils to apply new knowledge, understanding, and skills, to deepen their learning further.

You will be a teacher with a passion for French and the ability to effectively communicate your enthusiasm to students. You should be able to plan and deliver well- organised lessons, promote high standards of behaviour, and work collaboratively with colleagues. Good practical ICT skills are also essential. You will either be a qualified teacher with a proven track record, or a graduate with a passion for teaching.
