Key Stage 1 Phase Leader with additional responsibilities for Science

Kenmore Park Infant & Nursery School is a successful and aspirational four form entry multicultural school that is highly ambitious for its learners and staff (52 place nursery offering 15 hours per week over two 3 hours per day sessions term time only morning and afternoon).

The Governors wish to appoint a very experienced practitioner to Early Years to teach/provide strong leadership and drive standards within the early years phase.

You will be required to demonstrate the following qualities:

• ambitious, innovative and inspirational leadership qualities
• excellent classroom practice demonstrating the enjoyment for leading learning
• a track record of raising achievement of all groups of learners within Key Stage 1
• experience of teaching/leading learning in Key Stage 1
• strong use and experience of using formative & summative assessment to inform planning and provision for learners
• ability to work closely alongside the Headteacher to lead the school from Good to Outstanding.
