Contract type: Full Time Contract.  Term: Renewable 2 Year contracts but we encourage 4+ Year contracts.

Due to popularity and growing success, Al Ain English Speaking School is expanding its Primary provision across KS1 & KS2. While we are looking for new colleagues to join us across the Key Stages, we have an exciting building programme for expanding our Early Years by 4 new classes. We are therefore looking to appoint exceptional teachers to join our team in Key Stage 1.  We welcome applications from outstanding, self-motivated and dedicated professionals. We’re looking for passion, enthusiasm and experience, and a love for out of the box teaching!

As a qualified teacher you will be a fluent English speaker, familiar with the UK curriculum and confident working with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.  You will be an excellent communicator and confident with your subject knowledge and craft, and be someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. You will be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom. You won’t be afraid of hard work and will be relentlessly focused on giving our students opportunities for success both in and beyond the classroom. Experience of developing innovative lessons and extracurricular activities would be an advantage.

Al Ain English Speaking School is a very successful all-through school that was established in 1979 and is one of the oldest schools here. Selection Process:

Applications and further details should be made to the Principal's PA, Caroline Reader and should contain a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees. You are also required to submit a copy of your teaching qualifications and a current photograph of yourself.

Any offer of appointment will be subject to a successful medical as well as clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously known as CRB). The closing date for applications is 14th July.

Please note that candidates should have 2 years minimum experience from 2015 or before, and a teaching degree and/or PGCE. 

Interviews will be conducted as applicants apply, and therefore the position may be filled before the closing date. Start date: August 2017
