About us

Doha College is a high-profile leading British International School, for children aged 3-18, offering a well-balanced, all-embracing curriculum that follows the UK National Curriculum. We are also the first High Performance Learning accredited school in the world. Doha College is opening a brand-new pioneering 90,000m² state-of-the-art campus, which will see us grow to a 10-form primary and 10-form secondary school operating across two campuses. The new campus opens in September 2020, which will be an exceptionally exciting time for the school, as the year will also mark our 40th anniversary.

The opportunity

We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to start in September 2020. To be successful, you will have a passion for the primary years and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. You will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed, and have a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering outstanding lessons, monitoring and evaluating student achievement and contributing to the accomplishment of Doha College’s vision and mission.  

We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is therefore essential.
