Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our successful supply team to in a small, friendly primary school in Durham. The successful candidate will start work in November 2021, and will work full time until Easter 2022.  Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS. 

The role

The desired Primary Teacher will be working in a small one from entry primary school, where young children possess a range of ability levels and needs, including SEND. The class is a mixed Year 1 / 2 group of children. The school would like someone who has recent experience teaching lower Key Stage 1.


Requirements

To be considered for the Primary Teacher position, you will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) within the UK. 

• Have experience in teaching primary education in a school or nursery setting.

• Possess some experience with interventions including reading and maths.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary support staff.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons. 

• Have some experience in supporting SEND children.

• Hold any experience working on supply, but we welcome candidates who want to try supply teaching too.
