Key Stage 1 Teacher

For September 2025, Forres Sandle Manor seeks to appoint an individual who is an excellent, enthusiastic and innovative teacher, with energy and drive.  

We are looking for an inspirational, dedicated and caring teacher who has the required  experience to add to our outstanding staff team. They will be an expert teacher of Literacy and Maths with a curiosity and knowledge to lead children through an enquiry led, creative curriculum. They should also be able  to contribute to the wider co-curricular and community activity of a lively Day and Boarding school situated in this  beautiful part of the country. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join our small, friendly and caring  community of staff and children and enjoy teaching small classes (currently averaging 13) of  polite, respectful and hardworking children as well as benefiting from terms and conditions  and over 16 weeks holiday per  year. All Key Stage 1 classes have the benefit of a dedicated class Teaching Assistant as well as Maths, Sport, Music and French being taught by subject teachers. 

Operating in our fabulous Pre-Prep building, housing all our pupils from Nursery up until  Year 2, the new postholder will enjoy working alongside some remarkable colleagues and  children, in a truly wonderful and inspirational setting which places children at the very  heart of all it does.
