Key Stage 1 Teacher, Newcastle upon Tyne

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Hexham. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a reception class which will commence in February until April.

The role

The desired Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher will be working in a reception class of 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in an Early Years setting.

This is a larger than average sized school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. It is led by a great leadership team and has excellent support staff, children love coming to school and behaviour is good. 

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 (KS1) level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
