Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Sunderland. The successful candidate will work full time in a Year 2 class commencing from September 2021 – December 2021. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS.

The role 

The desired Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher will be working in a Year 2 class of 28 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has taught in Key Stage 1 (KS1) previously with recent KS1 SATs experience.

This is a Good school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. The school are looking for a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 Teacher to work alongside senior leaders and governors to further improve progress within Key Stage 1 (KS1). The school has a caring ethos and strong values.


Requirements 

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 (KS1) level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
