Teaching Assistant 

£324 per week 

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications 

Contract Dates - 

If successful, the role will commence after the autumn half term and would be day to day supply 

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4) as a minimum. You must have relevant experience in an educational setting. A qualification such as Level 2 teaching assistant would be preferred but not essential.

The role 

The successful candidate should have an enthusiasm for supporting children within their education, you must have a proven record of working within a Key Stage1. You must be an excellent communicator who is committed to being proactive in working with pupils, parents, and colleagues. Also, you must have high personal standards, be disciplined, and organised and most importantly, caring with the ability to relate well to children and adults alike. 

The school 

We are looking for passionate teaching assistant who can deliver the national curriculum to smaller groups of children as intervention. They have requested someone who can work on their own initiative but is confident to ask questions.  to Our Teaching assistants can find full time, part time and flexible work across a selection of schools if required. 

Requirements 

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will need as a minimum: 

• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4) or level 2 as a minimum but strong enough to break tasks down and give accurate support. 

• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. (Preferable but not essential) 

• Can provide observation, assessment and be able to feedback to Class Teacher.

• Be able to adapt to different routines daily.

• Have experience of the national curriculum, phonics, and an educational setting.

• Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.

• Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Fri. Potential for Part Time.
