Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Moorlands School seeks to appoint a well‐qualified, motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join its committed team from September 2017.  The successful candidate will have responsibility for a Y4 class and be involved in the teaching of Boys Games.  An ability to lead the further development of the Computing Curriculum would be an advantage.  

We are a non-selective, IAPS co-educational Prep School and Nursery for children aged 2-11, conveniently located in Weetwood, close to the Ring Road in North Leeds.  The school is large enough to have great facilities, but is small enough for all of the children to be known by the staff and each other.  

Our pupils are incredibly proud to be ‘Moorlanders’ and benefit from the strong sense of community which exists within the school and live up to its motto – ‘Intrepide’.  Pastoral care is a particular strength of the school and we work hard to ensure that each pupil achieves the very best that they can, both academically and through extra-curricular opportunities.   

The closing date for applications is Thursday 27th April  2017 at 12 noon. Interviews will take place in the week beginning 1st May 2017.
