The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher/Tutor for Atkinson Road Primary Academy to start as soon as possible.

Atkinson Road Primary Academy, part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust, is a vibrant, warm and welcoming place catering for pupils aged two years to eleven years. We are unique in that we have children coming from countries all around the world to work, play and learn together and together we make our school an exciting place to be in the centre of our amazing Benwell community.

We are looking for someone with drive, passion and a desire for nothing but the best for our pupils. This post includes a tutoring role. You will teach small groups of children on an afternoon. You will monitor and track the progress of these children in order to demonstrate impact of intervention. Mornings will be class based, teaching a small Key Stage 2 class.

The successful candidate will join a successful Multi Academy Trust where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
