Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Ashington. This contract will be for half a term commencing in May 2018 and running until the end of July 2018, to cover a period of maternity leave. This would be a part time position, covering Wednesday afternoons and full days on both Thursday and Friday. 

The Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher role will be based at a small but successful primary school, which has a good reputation in the local community. The behaviour and attitude of the children is excellent, and children enjoy coming to the school to learn. 

The desired Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. This Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher must have experience of working within Key Stage Two (KS2) and be comfortable working in the Year 5 classroom. 

To be considered for the position of Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher you must:

  • Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage Two (KS2), specifically in Year 5 
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
