Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Blyth area.  

This average sized primary school has strong leadership which has positively impacted on children’s learning. The school are looking for a committed and successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to work part time, across the Year 3 – Year 6 classrooms. Part time hours will include working 08:30-15:30, Monday –Friday and is expected to start in September and will be on-going.

The successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Key Stage 2 (KS2) and will be utilised in both the Lower and Upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms. The successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant will be supporting in the above year groups, providing small group activities, as well as full class support. Therefore the successful candidate will ideally have experience and knowledge of the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. 

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant you must:

· Have experience supporting children in primary education within Key Stage 2 (KS2) 

· Hold a Level 2 qualification or above in childcare

· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff

· Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
