We are looking to appoint an experienced Primary Teacher (KS2) to join our dedicated team with immediate effect. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced teacher to shape and lead pedagogy within our setting, and maintain the excellent standard of early years education we offer.
One Planet is an independent Preschool and Daycare center situated in the Msasani district of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In being a small school, we like to see ourselves as a unique little family. Our small numbers allow our teachers and their assistants to provide each and every child at the school individual care and attention which they need to fully express themselves at their young age.
Job Outline
The role involves leading pedagogy in the setting; planning and implementing a curriculum based on the UK Primary Framework which supports children’s learning and development. The teacher works with the support of a small teaching team.
You must have a PGCE to be considered for this position, and an excellent command of written and spoken English.

CURRICULUM
Our school offers education for all ages: from Kindergarten (Pre-Primary) all the way to the A-level.
We teach according to the Cambridge International Education (CIE) Curriculum and our School is a candidate Cambridge International School and Exam Centre which will administer exams for the IGCSE and A Levels. The school is also exploring the possibility for the students to do the NECTA Examinations.
Our teachers carry with them the knowledge and experience of different countries and they are all internationally oriented in outlook and training.
Our facilities are modern and located at the premises of the University of Dodoma in Dodoma, Tanzania.
We put emphasis on a holistic development of our students. There will be performing arts and visual arts presentations, where parents will participate to support and encourage the students’ endeavours.
