Our school ethos is captured in three words:

Aspire, Believe, Achieve

We teach the values of good manners, positivity, resilience, trying hard, pride and good decision making.  Our 'Heybridge Pledge' has been developed with the children to reflect these values and show how we work together as a whole school community.

We place the children at the heart of everything we do at our school.  We continually develop our curriculum so that every child has a rich and varied school experience.  With our support each child will develop their academic knowledge and learn a wide range of life skills to equip them for all aspects of their future.

Our staff are appointed for their passion, their enthusiasm and their imagination in communicating with children to ensure that every child in their class is engaged, excited and challenged by the learning experience at all times.

Heybridge Primary School currently has 264 pupils ranging from 4 - 11 years, across ten classes.  We have a bright modern building which is well equipped and is set within unusually generous grounds with playing fields and gardens.  We are acknowledged as a friendly school within our community and benefit from easy access to local amenities.

In December 2012 we converted to Academy status and became part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT).  The School shares good links with other primary and secondary schools in the Maldon area, so is able to provide wider learning experiences and networking opportunities with our neighbours and also schools within the TKAT family.
