Key Stage 2 Teaching Opportunity in Mongolia (British Curriculum)

BSU has entered an exciting phase of growth and development and as such, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic, motivated  and enthusiastic teacher of Key Stage 2 to join our successful teaching team.  The Primary school opened its EYFS section in September 2016 and has a Pre-school 2 and a Reception class with the plans to increase this to 2 reception classes. Throughout Primary we have a 2-form entry and numbers are growing year on year.

BSU is located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city in Mongolia. The school opened in September 2012 and currently takes students between the ages of 3 - 18 with the first graduating Year 13 students going through in 2017. BSU offers a rewarding teaching opportunity in a thriving environment, offering  a unique chance to experience life in a fascinating part of the world.

The school is a fully accredited member school of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). It successfully completed the British Schools Overseas inspection in 2014, two years after opening its doors to students. BSU is accredited with the Cambridge International Examination Board (CIE). 

We follow a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Programme, the National Curriculum of England and Wales and Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A2 examinations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant degree and PGCE or BEd with QTS
• Experience in delivering the Primary National Curriculum
• Ability to work with more than one age group
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to educating the whole child
• A high level of professionalism

Desirable:

• Experience of working with EAL students
