Vision for Education are looking to appoint a part time Key stage 2 Teacher to work within a school in West Newcastle. This position is set to begin in October 2021, working three days per week, between the hours of 08:30-15:30. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status. 

The role

The successful candidate will have a profound understanding of the National Curriculum and experience of teaching all subjects across Key Stage 2. The Key Stage 2 Teacher must have excellent behaviour management and a professional approach to teaching and learning within the classroom. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work alongside the class Teaching Assistant to provide excellent classroom management and an optimal learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements

To be considered for the Key Stage 2 Teacher position, you will:

• Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs. 

• Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.

• Be creative and enthusiastic towards delivering learning to the children. 

• Extensive knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
