Job overview

Working together, we can build better futures.

At Great Heath Academy, we want everyone – pupils, parents and staff – to feel proud of the academy and enjoy the ability to make it even better. We care about our children as individuals, and do everything we can to help them fulfil their potential and develop the independence and confidence they will need to succeed in life.

It’s equally crucial that we recruit the most ambitious and talented teachers, and give them everything they need to succeed.

You will carry out professional duties and have responsibility for covering PPA and NQT time in KS2 classes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of each class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.

Join us, and your career could take you anywhere within the Academy Transformation Trust’s extensive network of academies.

You can also expect an exceptional package of benefits through our Together Platform. You will enjoy a health cash plan, shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an employee assistance programme – plus all the satisfaction of delivering an education that develops young people as individuals, not just students.

Finally, you can anticipate an enviable lifestyle in one of the most beautiful parts of rural England, giving you the chance to change your perceptions and realise your full potential, just like our pupils.

Discover where we could take your career by visiting: www.academytransformationtrust.co.uk > vacancies.

Closing date:  Tuesday 15th October 2019.

ATT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

We are a three form entry primary school with a Nursery class, catering for over 550 pupils. We are proud to be part of Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) and work closely with the other academies in this trust. We use the International Primary Curriculum to create fun, meaningful learning experiences for all children, which we regularly share with parents and carers. We very much believe that the education of children is a partnership and constantly look for further ways we can work closely with parents and carers to ensure that all children achieve their full potential. Our latest Ofsted inspection (April 2018) rated us as Good in all areas and we are constantly monitoring our work to ensure we maintain this whilst striving to be Outstanding.

We have fantastic resources including a cooking room, large library and tennis courts, which are all used in lessons and clubs.
