Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare.


Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a long-term Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) role which will commence in December 2021 until July 2022. This position will be part-time, and working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.


The role


Working as part of a dynamic and effective team, the Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) will focus on delivering full classroom support to various classes within the Key Stage 2 department. The successful applicant will also be expected to be flexible in supporting children with SEND and leading small group activities. It is essential that the successful Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) is comfortable and has experience working with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Requirements


To be considered for the Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) position, you will:


Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

Have a patient and nurturing nature.

Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Have experience of delivering one to one support to pupils who have Special Educational Needs.
