Key Stage 3 & 4 Art Teacher

About the Position:

As an Art Teacher at ICS you will be responsible for delivering the English National Curriculum the KS3 syllabus to some of our Key Stage 3 and the IGCSE syllabus to our Key Stage 4 students. You will be tracking their attainment and progress and planning to ensure all pupils make good progress whatever their start point. You will work alongside other colleagues from the Department and from the relevant Year Group teams.

This role offers you the unique opportunity to help shape the development of our growing Art and Design Technology Department.

About ICS Branch 1, an English Curriculum School

International Community School Branch 1 is centrally located in the heart of Abu Dhabi Island. Branch 1 is entering into its 9th year. It began as a Primary school and is slowly expanding into a FS to Year 13 school, adding Secondary Year groups one a year; Year 11 was added this year.

Requirements:

Teachers should hold a Bachelor of Education Degree (or an Art degree and PGCE or similar  in Secondary education) with at least 2 years classroom teaching experience. Experience in an English National Curriculum School and of GCSE teaching  is desirable but not essential.
