Changzhou Trina International School is seeking to acquire several teachers to facilitate its growth.
SECONDARY TWO: KEY STAGE 4/5 ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The successful candidates will possess a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or Bachelor of Education with Secondary qualifications, along with relevant undergraduate qualifications in English Language and Literature.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience and qualifications with teaching multiple stages/levels and with IMYC, IGCSE, and A-Levels is preferred. Additional qualifications in history and geography would be optimal. Additional experience teaching UK and American high school curricula internationally and/or domestically would be an asset. Possessing ESL qualifications / TESOL certification would be advantageous, given our diverse student body.
APPLICANT CHARACTER, COMPETENCY
Requisite qualifications and at least 2 years of experience aside, preferred candidates will have a collaborative attitude, will possess excellent interpersonal skills, and will demonstrate cultural proficiency within the context of an international team and community, while exuding a passion for the profession and the ability to engage students.
SECONDARY PROGRAMME
CZTIS offers the IGCSE stream leading to A-Levels for foreign families and students from our middle years programme. CZTIS also offers an American ESL stream for promising Chinese nationals. New faculty will join current members to teach sections in either stream or both.

About Changwai Bilingual School (CBS)
Changzhou Trina International School (CZTIS) is a pre-School-12 educational institution located in the Xinbei District of Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. The school, which delivers the International Primary Curriculum and International Middle Years Curriculum, was opened in 2012 and is partly funded by Trina Solar.
The school’s house system organises the school into four equal parts – each one made up of equal numbers of each year group and a balance of male and female students. School life is designed to develop in students the core competencies of character, communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
