With over 2200 students (1250 in Primary), MES Cairo serves to develop the next generation of Egyptian leaders offering a pre-K through university preparatory academic programme.
Applications are invited from educators with proven leadership experience and excellent knowledge of effective educational practices aligned to national curriculum standards. Whilst experience at Deputy Head level is an advantage, enthusiastic and ambitious teachers who have proven their potential as effective school leaders in a relevant capacity will be considered.
The appointed candidate will have a specific remit for leadership of KS1 under the guidance of the Whole School Principal and KS1 Head Teacher, and contribute to the overall direction of the Primary school as a prominent member of the Primary Senior Leadership Team. The team leads and inspires 48 classes, 70 qualified teachers (predominantly overseas hire) and 38 Teaching and Learning Assistants. The teaching team includes specialist teachers of PE, Music, Special Educational Needs, French and Computing. Their collective remit is to ‘Care, Challenge and Inspire’ our 1250 students in the Primary Section of our school.
