Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage One (KS1) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary academy in the Hyde area of Tameside. This is a full time primary teaching role, covering a KS1 class which will commence in September 2020 and will continue for one year.  The specific year group for this position is open to discussion with the Principle at interview stage. 


The role 

The desired Key Stage One (KS1) teacher will be working in an average sized class and will work as a part of an effective KS1 team. This role would be suitable for experienced teachers only and the school would ideally like someone with Key Stage 1 (KS1) experience who has recently taught in a KS1 class. The successful Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher would be expected to plan fun and engaging lessons. For the correct candidate, the position could continue for longer than one year. Full time working hours will be 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

This is an average sized primary academy where pupil’s achievement and enjoyment of learning are good. At this primary academy pupil’s feel extremely safe and staff respond rapidly if they have any concerns. Teaching staff also work extremely hard to ensure that pupils individual needs are met.  This school is led by a highly supportive and forward thinking senior leadership team. 


Requirements 

  • To be considered for the position of Key Stage One (KS1) Teacher, you will: 
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 
  • Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 1 level 
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers. 
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
