Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Good communication at all levels
  • Develop positive relationships with all members of the school community
  • Plan engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum
  • Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly
  • Work with parents to ensure the happiness and best academic outcomes for all children
  • Clear understanding of the Curriculum
  • Organize the classroom provision and learning resources
  • Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching
  • Observe and assess children in line with school assessments
  • Use data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision, and intervention
  • Provide feedback to parents and carers on a student’s progress
  • Follow the school’s behaviour policy
  • Maintain good relationships with pupils
  • Be a positive role model
  • Carry out duties as directed within the school’s policy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood or Child Development Studies)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a KG/FS Teacher
  • Experience with an American/British Curriculum is advantageous
  • Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration for the well-being of children
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age, and ethnic background.
