Kitchen Assistant / Cook - Level 2

Mayfield School is a successful and popular school catering for pupils between the ages of 2-19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.

We are currently seeking an exceptional and hardworking individual to join our catering team, duties include: 

• Preparing and cooking meals 
• Serving meals 
• Carrying out general kitchen duties 
• Helping to set up the dining hall 

We are looking for candidates who are keen, motivated, caring and are able to work as part of a team and is able to work at a high pace and bale to produce high quality food.

Successful applicants will have experience of working in the food industry and in particular a busy kitchen environment. You will have a sound knowledge of food hygiene and experience of preparing and cooking meals with relevant experience in a similar role.
