Primary Teachers
A number of exciting opportunities are available for highly motivated and energetic teachers to join our Pendle Education Trust family. Working across our Primary Academies, this is a particularly exciting time to join the Trust as we prepare two new schools over the Summer. 

You will be joining a driven team that exhibits an unrelenting approach to supporting all our children to achieve their potential. Our academies provide extensive curriculum enrichment opportunities and are committed to continuous improvement to make a difference for all of our children. 

You will play an integral role to ensure the children in their class achieve their full potential in a safe and happy environment. This will involve making sure that the children are highly motivated, have high expectations of themselves, and enjoy their learning through imaginative and engaging teaching. 

To be successful for our children we continuously review and re-energise practice in the classroom and it is vital that you demonstrate a commitment to high quality teaching and learning, and enriching the wider learning experience of our children. To achieve this, you will be committed to sharing good practice across the Trust and actively engage in continuous professional development.

  • Pendle Primary Academy was named one of the top 50 performing or improving schools in England in 2015.
  • Colne Primet Academy received an Ofsted grading of 'good' in all areas in May 2018 and was named the East Lancashire Newspapers' Secondary School of the Year in 2018. 
  • In its first Ofsted inspection since conversion, Castercliff Primary Academy received a 'good' grading in all areas in spring 2018 after being named as 'inadequate' in its last inspection as Nelson Castercliff Community Primary School. 
  • Castercliff Primary Academy was congratulated by The Secretary of State for School Standards in 2018 for being amongst the top 2% of schools in England for the progress pupils make from Key Stage 1 to the end of Key Stage 2.
