We are seeking an excellent teacher for KS1 for a great opportunity to take a class from Easter 2017, or earlier if available. This is an exciting time to join our school as the school is expanding to 3 forms of entry and has recently opened a new Infant site offering us further opportunities to develop the curriculum.
We would welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers who have experience with KS1.
Stoneydown Park Primary is a popular, oversubscribed community school in Walthamstow with good attainment, progress and behaviour. We have a friendly, inclusive ethos and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for each child. Stoneydown is expanding and has recently opened a new Infant site across the road from our Junior site so this would be a great time to join us as we gradually move to 3 forms of entry. This September, KS1 has become fully 3-form and KS2 2-form.
We highly value creativity and learning from the environment, making regular use of our adjoining park, school garden and Walthamstow Marshes. Other information Stoneydown Park Primary School is right at the heart of the local community and is a friendly, multicultural school in Walthamstow, East London. The school adjoins an attractive park and is two minutes walk from bus routes and Blackhorse Road station. Walthamstow High Street and market is five minutes walk away.
Staff are more than willing to help each other, share good practice, be on hand for advice and generally work together as part of a team to make Stoneydown a positive school to work in for staff, children and visitors.
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and can be arranged through the school office.
The selection process will include a lesson observation. This will be in your own school or at Stoneydown.
