Job overview

Bilingual, bicurricular and bicultural English/Italian school seeks ENGLISH KS1 Class Teacher

If, for you...

There is more than one way to teach a child
To be trusted, challenged, seen and heard is as important for teachers
as it is for children
When you are not happy you would rather speak and act
A considered question can reveal as much as a considered answer
Your mind willingly turns to your teaching when you come across a great idea
It is important to know where you stand, where you're heading
and that you'll be supported and encouraged to get there
It's a good time to look at things a little differently
There is never enough time to do all you'd like to
Things not going to plan soon moves from a cause for concern to a cause for action
Telling someone something brilliant that a child has said or done is fun to do
The world is both big and small
Learning from children is a regular occurrence
(if a little cringeworthy to say out loud)

...then please consider the accompanying role description for the position of KS1 Class Teacher at our school.

A knowledge of Italian, however small, is not required. A strong experience of teaching phonics and/or children learning English as an additional language would be advantageous (for us and for you).

If you wish to apply for this position please send the application form to
info@scuolaitalianalondra.org.
