Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced Year 2 teacher for a school in South London (SE25). Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this two-form entry, Catholic primary school also has an onsite nursery and impressive grounds including grass playing areas. The role will be a general teaching role with no additional area of responsibility. You will be joining a committed and hard-working team who ensures that the needs of the children are met to a high standard. Starting immediately, this position will be on temporary basis but could turn into a permanent role from September for the right candidate.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / equivalent overseas teaching qualification
  • Have previous experience teaching the UK KS1 curriculum
  • Have respect of the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Both NQTs and overseas trained teachers are welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
