Teaching Vacancy - Classroom Teacher Post: KS1 Teacher Department: Children and Young People’s Services 

Grade: M1 – UPS   Hours: 0.6 (3 days a week)

The Governors of this happy, successful and thriving school are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic teacher to join our team. Successful candidates will initially be placed in Key Stage 1.  For this position you will need to be an outstanding classroom teacher, ensuring high quality teaching and learning and excellent levels of student progress. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a committed staff team and make a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils.  Carr Mill Primary is a caring, nurturing community, with a team of staff who are committed to ensuring the needs of all children are at the heart of everything the school does. We provide a stimulating, inclusive curriculum with a varied range of engaging opportunities for children to extend their learning.    Our children get an outstanding start to their school life in Nursery and Reception. Where possible, please include with your application evidence from a recent teaching observation that demonstrates your teaching to be outstanding. 

Shortlisting will take place on THURSDAY 19TH APRIL 2018 and successful candidates will be informed.  Shortlisted candidates will have a lesson observation on either MONDAY 23RD APRIL OR TUESDAY 24TH APRIL 2018.  Those with successful lesson observations will be invited to attend an Interview and task day held on FRIDAY 27TH APRIL 2018.
