Smart Teachers is recruiting for a KS1 teacher / Year 2 teacher to join a primary academy in Ashford (TW15) from October 2016. We are looking to appoint a KS1 teacher who has a passion for creating lifelong learners, is committed to inclusion and equality, and has high expectations of themselves and every child. This is a part time job share contract, two days a week, sharing teaching responsibilities alongside another teacher for the academic year. For KS1 teachers seeking a full time role, a further three days are available within the Trust.

In order to be considered for this role, the KS2 teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Must hold a Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Must have proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply?
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
