Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to join the School to work with and support the existing team.  School experience and suitable qualifications are ideal, whilst a proactive, positive, character who embraces the school Values of Teamwork, Resilience, Aspiration, Care and Kindness (TRACK) is essential.

The individual will work in partnership with the KS1 teaching team, helping support the children in their day to day activities and development, sharing our determination for every child to reach their full potential.  

The role will involve general support of the children across the school day, working with individuals and within a specific class setting, assistance with academic provision, preparation of resources, and supporting specialist subject lessons, such as Forest School, Music, P.E. and French lessons. 

We expect the candidate to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school including involvement in our wraparound care and holiday club programme, which is paid in addition to the base salary. The role is term time plus 3 days either side of term.
