Job overview

Langley Hall Primary Academy is looking for a part-time KS1/Yr1 Teacher to help with both Literacy & Numeracy Booster Sessions on an ongoing basis.

The hours are from 9am to 11.15am (with a 15min break) Monday to Thursday.

No planning is required as this will be done for you but there may be some marking. The class size will be around 18 children and you will teach the same class for both Literacy & Numeracy.

We are looking for someone who wants a new challenge whilst being fully motivated and dedicated to teaching. This position would therefore be ideal if you are semi-retired or want to get back to the classroom. At our School we focus on preparing children for life. The successful candidate will have proven that they make learning imaginative, creative and inspiring as we strongly believe this motivates children to want to learn.

Our School promise is for children to be happy at school and to leave us prepared for their next stage in life as confident independent learners, with high self-esteem and a sense of responsibility and tolerance in all they do.

If you believe you can commit to our ethos and vision then we would like to hear from you.

Attached is LHPA's general teacher Job Description/Person Specification.

Candidates will be considered on receipt of application and interviews arranged accordingly.
