KS2 Class Teacher (6 month maternity cover)

We are looking to appoint a teacher on a 6 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.

St Peter’s is a two form entry primary school located in a residential area in South Croydon with strong local community ties.  We can offer a well-designed, bright modern learning environment with superb outside facilities and good transport links nearby.

From the 1st April 2017 we became part of the Folio Education Trust – a local MAT.  Having achieved ‘good’ in our last Ofsted inspection in January 2013, our current emphasis is on preparing our pupils to be ‘secondary-ready’ especially in core subjects, but not losing the creativity that is a valued feature of our curriculum. Ofsted inspectors remarked that, ‘Pupils join in activities enthusiastically. Their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is good because teachers make sure they encourage pupils’ personal skills.”
