Job overview

Our stated Belvoirdale Primary School aim is:

“To go further than I thought. To run faster than I hoped. To reach higher than I dreamed. To become the person I need to be”.

…. And not just for our children!

Belvoirdale Primary School is seeking to appoint a KS2 Classroom Teacher from Wednesday 24th August 2016.

Are you passionate about education?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Class Teacher to help us in our drive to become an outstanding school (Good Ofsted 2014). Posts are suitable for experienced Teachers or equally competent NQT’s. A TLR could be available for the right candidate.

Everyone at Belvoirdale is committed to ensuring that our children have the best possible education and are keen to continue to develop opportunities for our children to thrive. We are a caring school, where pupils, staff and parents/carers are valued. Expectations are high, and we anticipate that this will continue with our new Head Teacher who is starting in August 2016.

We can offer you:

  • A welcoming and caring school with well-behaved and motivated pupils who are enthusiastic learners
  • The support of a fantastic team of committed, dedicated staff who are passionate about education
  • An exciting prospect to make an outstanding contribution to our school
  • Strong links and partnerships with local schools and the wider learning community
  • State of the art IT provision
  • A strong commitment to your professional development
  • Committed and hardworking Governors

An interest or specialism in a particular subject would be welcome. Our most important consideration will be the overall quality and calibre of the candidate.

We are very fortunate that our extensive grounds are used to support outdoor learning through a forest school which is used as an outside learning base with recently forest school trained teaching staff. We are very proud of our new library which is a state of the art facility for our children.

Belvoirdale is placed in the heart of the Coalville Community and is involved in a number of events within the town, including several visits to Church to celebrate festivals as well being involved in Remembrance Day each year. House building in and around Coalville is gaining momentum with a number of housing development projects taking place within the catchment area of Belvoirdale. Year on year the schools numbers have been maintained or had steady growth with the future looking to continue at this rate.

Everyone who works at Belvoirdale shares our agreed values:

Dream it Learn it Live it

If you have a passion for teaching children and raising standards, we would love to hear from you.

Visits to our school are encouraged, so please come and see us prior to application. To arrange a visit please contact Donna Moulds (Interim Head Teacher) on 01530 832595.
