We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and qualified KS2 Teacher to join our join our academy. We want to hear from teachers that are passionate about teaching and want to help make a real difference to the children of our academy.

You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class. You will work alongside your year group partner to assess, plan and carefully orchestrate with your teaching assistant, the best provision possible resulting in all children making accelerated progress and reaching at least national standards. About Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park

Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park is a primary academy for local children. Our belief is that children thrive when they are consistently happy and safe at school. Whatever a child’s background or starting point, we want to make sure that they finish Year 6 with the academic skills, social skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Every lesson at our school is creative and there is plenty of time for children to think, to play, to discover and wonder. In addition, from the age of 3, parents have the option to start their children in Harris Peckham Park Nursery.

About Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park

School summary

Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park opened in September 2011 in the heart of Peckham. Children can start our Academy in the nursery when they are 3 years old and they leave after Year Six, when they are 11. Our Academy is an exciting place to learn and our pupils work hard and behave well. Our specialism is Literacy and Communication and we believe that learning to read, write and communicate effectively is extremely important. In 2011 97% of our children achieved a L4 in English at the end of Year 6. 100% of children made two national curriculum levels of progress in English.
