Why come and work with us?
We are a vibrant, inclusive and successful school seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed teachers. If you are keen to develop professionally in an exciting, caring and supportive environment; our school is the place for you. This is an outstanding opportunity for both experienced teachers and those in the early years of their career or newly qualified.
Children at the school are eager to learn; their parents are very supportive and aspirational for their children. Standards are high but staff are never complacent and strive for the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
Teachers are encouraged to take advantage of a wide range of high quality professional learning opportunities: the school leads a developing Teaching School Alliance which offers excellent in house CPD and opportunities to lead this. The school has applied to participate in the European Erasmus project, learning from best practice in week-long exchanges with European schools, and is in partnership with the Institute of Education collaborating on research projects. The school also supports other schools within the borough, developing teaching and learning.
For NQTs or those returning to teaching, we are willing to pay over the summer period as we recognise the issues new teachers face when preparing for a new role whilst having to work and find accommodation over the summer holidays.
