Coxlease School is a specialist provision set just outside of Lyndhurst.  Boasting direct access to New Forest walks and a calming, spacious site, Coxlease School provides a therapeutic approach to teaching SEMH students.  We are a small school with ages ranging from Primary years to Post-16, so it comes as no surprise that positive relationships with staff and students is at the forefront of what we do.  We provide education through a holistic, SEND friendly curriculum, incorporating therapy, social skills and an enrichment programme into our everyday teaching.

Coxlease School can now offer an exciting opportunity to appoint a new Key Stage 2 General Teacher within our primary department. We are seeking someone who can offer new ideas, show flexibility within their teaching practice, and show an understanding towards our pupils’ needs. We pride ourselves in providing our students with a meaningful education, which supports them in becoming successful members of our community, which in turn, can be very rewarding.

  • Experience teaching Read, Write Inc. Phonics is desirable, but not essential.

Coxlease School is an independent specialist day school, located near Lyndhurst, Hampshire. Our School enjoys a beautiful setting in the heart of the New Forest and is well situated for easy access across to many areas of southern England and the Midlands.

We are proud of our excellent reputation for providing highly eff­ective education, care, therapy, welfare and support for up to 60 boys and girls aged 5 to 19 years old who have difficulties regulating their emotional, social and mental health needs. They may also have other complex needs often associated with autistic spectrum conditions.
