Located 30 minutes away from the centre of Newcastle, we are situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK, including the historic village of Warkworth and its castle to the north, the picturesque fishing village of Amble, and an area of outstanding national beauty at Druridge Bay.

We require an outstanding KS2 lead teacher to join our federation from September 2016. The successful candidate should have experience of teaching English and/or maths.

The pupils and staff are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who wants to work as part of a team to drive learning forward. We require someone who strives to ensure all our children can read and write and articulate themselves fluently and confidently.

You will have overall responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for students in the primary phase. You will lead primary colleagues and ensure that students receive the best provision possible, resulting in students making good progress and achievement.

James Calvert Spence College is situated in a beautiful coastal town in North Northumberland. The school is part of a hard federation with a high school and a first school.
