Old Vicarage School is a highly successful and thriving independent prep school for girls between the ages of 4 and 11 years.   We are seeking an inspirational, experienced and well qualified KS2 teacher with an interest in Computing and ICT to start in September 2019. 

You will be responsible for teaching in Years 2 - 6, leading the teaching of Computing/ICT throughout the School and teaching a core subject to your own form. You will also be expected to keep up to date with new developments. You will need confidence, excellent communication skills and the imagination and desire to utilise technology to enhance the learning experience for all pupils.

This is an opportunity for an individual with enthusiasm, drive and good management skills to embed good practice and implement new initiatives. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the further development of digital technology in the School. 

Candidates should have at least two years KS2 teaching experience, including extensive use of digital technology. You will need to be supportive and sympathetic to the ethos of teaching in an independent school.

The salary will be competitive, based on the candidate’s skills, experience and ability to contribute to the life of the school. This is a full-time, permanent role.

The Old Vicarage is an iconic Grade 2* Listed castle on Richmond Hill and is home to the only girls’ prep school in Richmond.
