Job overview

We are a primary school with a growing roll of 680 pupils. The original infant and junior schools were amalgamated in September 2014 to form Edgware Primary School. It is a community school, non-denominational, three-form, mixed gender entry, with over 38 languages spoken.

We are delighted to advertise this Key Stage Two Teaching post. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated practitioner wishing to make a clear difference to the educational outcomes of our motivated and receptive pupils.

The teacher will be expected to provide an effective, stimulating and well organised classroom. To be an enthusiastic teacher whose classroom practice consistently demonstrates an ability to help children achieve success with their learning and play an active role in the class and school.

As a class teacher you should participate fully in the life of the school, working with the whole staff to devise and agree school policies and procedures in line with national and local expectations.

If you are a teacher wishing to make a difference as part of a supportive team, please fill in and return our application form. Ensure that you address the job description and person specification in your statement of application, drawing from your experience and talent.

Completed application forms should be returned to the school for the attention of Mrs Lillian Wilkinson.

If you are interested in visiting the school, please contact the school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
