ABC Teachers are working closely with a popular primary school in Edgbaston, Birmingham for a long-term teacher to join their team. The position is will be working with mixed ability classes in upper KS2 from May until the end of the academic year, the role will then continue in a full class teaching role from September 2019.
The Head is ideally looking to recruit a newly qualified teacher for this position, however experienced teachers will also be considered, and is potentially looking to recruit for a permanent position for the right candidate.
To succeed in this role, you must be a proactive and engaging teacher who can quickly build good rapport with all pupils and demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge. You will be creative with your delivery in the classroom and you will demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development. You will be flexible in your approach to teaching and you will have the drive and determination to make a difference to learning.
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in ‘Child Workforce’ which must be registered on The Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
