A Year 5 teacher is required for a large school in Bordesley Green, for a long-term position which will be starting after Easter half term. This is a full time, on-going position which will continue until December 2019, as a temporary contract.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold valid QTS
- Be a patient and caring individual
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Thrive as part of a strong team
- Show commitment towards best teaching practise and pupil development
- Be proficient in literacy and numeracy
- Be proactive and demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge
This is a large school which caters for pupils of varying levels of ability and caters for a high number of EAL students. The school is centrally located and has a dedicated team who work hard maintain a safe and secure environment for all pupils to learn.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in ‘Child Workforce’ which must be registered on The Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
