We are seeking a KS2 teacher to join our dynamic Prep School team. With 3 classes in each Year group there is an emphasis on teamwork and in addition, all teaching staff are required to contribute to the sporting, pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school. Clifton College Preparatory School (known locally as 'The Pre') is the region’s largest boarding and day preparatory school for 400 girls and boys aged 8 to 13.
Bristol businessman Dr John Percival, who championed the benefits of science, diversity and the education of women, founded Clifton College in 1862. The college has since fostered the talents of students including General Douglas Haig and Olympic hockey gold medallist Lily Owsley. The NSPCC had its first meeting on the school’s grounds.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach at The Preparatory School, spanning Years 4–8. Each child is considered and treated as an individual with a unique profile of skills, passions, talents and undiscovered potential.
