Job overview

ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher to work in a ‘Good’ school in Tipton. This role is full-time and is due to start in September 2018 for one term only in the first instance; however it is likely that this position will extend for the full academic year. This school works as a close team for the benefit of their children. They see parents as key partners in achieving aims which are to make sure that the children are safe, healthy, confident and happy. They support and promote fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.

The role in question is for 5 days per week as a full class teacher role; this means that planning, marking and assessing are expected, however you will get chance to share resources and thoughts with your year group partner. Along with this, parents evening and 1 staff meeting will need to be attended. You will get PPA time along with the other class teacher one afternoon a week.

The ideal candidate will-

· Be a KS2 Specialist

· Be able to provide two educational references

· Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one

· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role

· Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum

· Qualified teacher status- NQTs are welcome to apply
