Mayfield Preparatory School is a highly successful over-subscribed selective Independent School (IAPS) with over 200 boys and girls, aged 2 - 11 years. It features small classes, excellent behaviour and a happy, family atmosphere.

Would you like the freedom to be inspirational with your own ideas? We seek an appropriately qualified and enthusiastic teacher in Key Stage 2.

The post holder will be a Form Teacher expected to teach all subjects across the curriculum to a high standard in Key Stage 2, with the ability to teach Science essential. There may be opportunities for the right candidate to lead a subject area or manage a department. Applications from NQTs welcome.

The successful candidate will need to be a confident classroom practitioner and a caring professional with high expectations of pupil attainment and able to form excellent relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues. It is also expected to record and report pupils’ progress to parents in line with the school’s assessment procedures.
