Location: Haringey

Salary: £60-£75 Per day PAYE. (Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications).

To be considered, candidates must hold a minimum Level 3 or Degree equivalent qualification. The successful candidate will have experience working within KS2 and ideally will have worked with pupils who require extra support due to various learning difficulties.  

Contract dates: March 2021 – July 2021

The role

Smart Teachers are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in a one-form entry school in Haringey. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and foster a nurturing and caring environment for both students and staff. The successful candidate will be working as a general KS2 Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with their learning during lessons and their social interaction during playtimes. The successful candidate will also assist the class teacher plan and develop tailored activities for the student. No personal care or medical assistance will be required of you, however you may need to support pupils on a 1:1 basis, where they require extra assistance due to learning difficulties.

Outdoor learning is widely encouraged throughout the school in order to provide a holistic approach to learning and development. The leadership team are very supportive and actively provide CPD for all staff in order to build skills that will optimise academic, social and emotional development of pupils. Requirements

To be considered for the KS2 Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Degree Level/ minimum Level 3

• Proven experience working in Primary Schools, particularly KS2

• Experience working with SEN students, who display learning difficulties

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
