KS3 Leader of Maths
Full time – Permanent - TLR 2b

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-motivated KS3 Leader of Maths from September 2019. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 Comprehensive School of 1220 students. Our intake is wide ranging by nature and we are proud of our very inclusive philosophy. We moved into a fantastic new building in September 2016 and our state of the art school provides an outstanding learning environment which enables us to achieve our motto of ‘Improving life chances’.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Acting as a Curriculum Lead and be responsible for leading and developing Maths at Key Stage 3.
• Supporting and developing the teaching practice of others within the Maths teaching team.
• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students in KS3 within the curriculum area.
• To ensure provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying Maths at Key Stage 3.
